This route comprises mostly of dirt road with sections of tar road and awesome single-track. (16 km) The blue route is a loop that takes riders off the farm along the dirt road. The trail consists of both single track and dirt road and starts and finishes with riding on the mountain’s foot. Beautiful views of Lesotho are presented to riders on this trail which will rightly tempt you to pause that STRAVA recording and take it all in. (10 km) The red trail takes riders on a loop which goes along the foot of Kromdraai farm’s mountain and then down to and along the Caledon River. Although the trail has been built with the more experienced, challenge seeking rider in mind, this trail can be ridden by anyone who has a moderate amount of mountain biking experience Red Trail Although short it is one of the most technically testing trail portions on the farm with wooden bridges, drop-offs and more. It is mainly comprised of signal track riding which loops and winds its way through one of the most beautiful spots on the farm. (3.8km) The yellow trail, although short is our signature trail. The one portion of the trail takes riders along the Caledon river which is a beautiful experience not to be missed. The trails are technical and have lots of single track to be enjoyed. There are four trails from 3.8 km – 30 km in length. KMTB is a set of fully marked mountain bike trails at the Barbet Country Cottages in the beautiful mountainous Eastern Free State.
